I believe that is only on the v6 models. None of the v8 models need fake engine noise

It's simply a very bad idea imo. NO ONE needs fake engine noise and why I turned it off with forescan. If I wanted a noisey truck I would have done what I did with my last V8 F150 which was change to after market exhaust and make lots of it. I'm at the point I like a nice quiet truck for traveling at high speed and don't need FAKE noise put into the stereo speakers!

That is the exact reason I had mine turned off.

I read somewhere on here that it's only on Lariat and higher models. I have an XLT, but I still disabled it in forscan just to be certain it's OFF.

Ford should offer at no charge, owners to bring the truck in and removed it. Owners should not have
to pay for stupid crap. If only 20 min, than eat it Ford for the designer who came up with the flawed plan

If you turn off the fake engine noise does it improve your fake fuel mileage?
