I went through a little fiasco today with the dealership. They ordered the VGL3Z-18808-A Kicker instead of VKL3Z-18808-A for my 2019 F150 SCREW. The VGL3Z-18808-A is for 2018 and earlier F150's and requires that you have the plug located at the Right C pillar. 2019's do not have this plug. I called the dealership and told them about this and they confirmed they ordered the wrong part. I'll be receiving the VKL3Z-18808-A later this afternoon. This Sub requires that you run power from the Battery Junction Box, remove the FCIM to access the 26 Pin ACM Connector to install 3 pins in the plug and then route that wire harness to the rear of the truck for the sub connection. You are basically running your own harness and plug like what was in the 2018 and earlier model F150's. I have attached the installation instructions since they could not be found anywhere online. Hope this helps someone that was facing the same or similar situation. I'll update later on how the install went.
For those lucky enough to get the Kicker Subwoofer Upgrade Kit VGL3Z-18808-A used from a Junkyard but most of the time it doesn't come with the Harness.
I'm selling the Harness for $60.00 (Shipped)
Applicable to 2015-2018 Ford F-150s

I bought a VKL3Z-18808-A kicker for my truck f150 STX 2019 and my dealer installed it and it doesn't sound, what can I do, he told me to order the wrong one and that I have to return it, that they recommend me, he also told me that the cables they are incorrect
Looking for some guidance here. 16 Lariat 502b with factory Sony “upgraded” system. Ugggh. I read a ton of threads but most are old (16 truck) and I know this type thing sometimes newer options become available so forgive me here.
Want to keep Sync3 and Sony head....was hoping there is a upgraded sub/amp thats plug and play. I read in over 20 pages and then glazed over. Haha. So much great info and knowledge in this thread with a lot relating to the base system...and over my head...so Im hoping there are newer options and simple way to spend the neatly discreet $1200 Kicker kit ( or another or less $ ) to increase the bass some....not crazy.
The factory Sony “upgrade” system sound is so disappointing. It has no soul. Im looking at easier type options to get better sound....given its already wired for the Sony setup.

Reason: Numb
Not familiar with the sony system but I first replace the four speakers with JBLs and it made a HUGE improvement (more in sound quality, not so much more volume), was night & day in the improvement.
I later added a small Dual sub & enabled it with forscan.
Sounds like you already have a sub so maybe it's worth swapping out the speakers.

if they plugged it into the connection on the passenger side rear it wont' work no matter which one you get
So I tried to swap my VG sub from my 2016 into a new 2019 and the dealership told me they can’t. Is the only difference in models this harness?
