Ok, so now that I understand this a little more. I'm thinking a Rockville RW10CA 800 Watt peak/200 Watt rms 10” Slim Car Subwoofer.

Then I need the WPT harness to wire it up and forscan to activate it.

Did I miss anything ?

If your amp only puts out 200 watts RMS, yes. BTW, the 200 watts RMS is the only wattage number that matters.

Any way to make then active? Is there a section of factory wiring missing along the line that can be completed or adding pins to a connector?

If I have to tap the speakers, wouldn't the front speakers be better to tap as they get more bass? But then I've heard don't tap the fronts due to the fake engine noise, but I plan turning that off anyhow with ForScan.

The outputs aren't there from the ACM, so there isn't anything that people have found that can be enabled or have wires connected to make it work. No one w/out Sirius has figured this out yet without tapping into the speakers.

Well you could tap the speakers and add the tapped wires to the connector. Ford should put out a TSB on this just like the Bed Light Kit compatibility. Although in the case of the Bed Light kit....a section of wiring just needs completing and will work on the trucks Ford says it won't with that mod.

Thank you all for your contributions, would have taken me much longer if you guys didn't add comments to help me along.

PAULIE,,,, Can you elaborate on this a little bit...

"I used the wpt1212 adapter on my supercab XLT, and only used that adapter for power, ground and remote, tapped into speaker lines using a post for color of wires to tap into."

You say you used the adapter for power, ground and remote,,,, did you run that 8/10/12g wire in the pic from the vega to the 1212 and then plug that into the factory plug behind the plastics...?
Or did you run a power form battery, ground to truck, and remote from 1212 plug to factory plug...?
Looking to hook my VPAS 10 up soon, but want to be sure how people are doing them.

I am thinking about using RCA adapters from the 1212 to VPAS10 for low signal input and remote wire from 1212 to VPAS 10 for power input,,, then run power form battery and ground.

Does this make sense? Thanks.....DMAN

My 2018 STX has that fuse. It was built in December in Dearborn. I do not have Sirius.

Hey guys,,,
I'm looking to add a sub in the way of the Cerwin Vega VPAS10. Has anybody use one of these subs that can offer any info. I am looking to add this sub using the WPT1212 adapter plugged into the factory sub plug. Does anybody know if it will work to hook this sub in using all wires,,,,power, ground, (+), (-), and remote off of the factory plug? OR,,, should I run a power and ground outside of the plug? I have read specs on the vega that it needs less than 6v for turn on, so the factory plug remote should work,,,,right?
Thanks.....DMAN

Also wondering about this. If I pickup the cerwin Vega, and get the wpt adapter, is that all I'll need to get this working in my 18 xlt?
