Factory sub
So I am looking at this unit online and it appears to break out the wires for AMP Replacement.

As well looking at the install guide for it, it appears to show each wire breakout however there is no black wires on the blue adapter they show for the Ford F150. Hmm there has to be a way to do this.
How does the LC2i tie in?

After watching this video of how the factory system works and why it is so dam complicated I see that I either have to go with one of the factory AMP replacement methods or tap the speakers as previously mentioned.
Crapper, if I just had that little grey plug like the XLT's this would have been so easy!

Dude, you're over complicating this massively. Seems like your 95% there already, just tap the wires after the dsp and call it a day. You can try to tie the sub outputs together for the low level signal, tap the rear doors and use the high level to the amp or use the rear doors high level to a line out converter and then to the amp.
That's what I did here to add a small sub/amp combo:

I honestly didn't notice much bass roll off, maybe my ears are bad, so I set the lc2i for eq mode. Really not too difficult once I knew what wires to tap. Admittedly this is just a very small upgrade and certainly not audiophile territory but gives a ton more bass than stock and works for me at the moment.
What you posted seems like just a harness kit you still need another unit to handle the processing if you totally remove the stock amp. Like the PAC unit I linked above.

Yes that harness goes to a amp replacement module and then you of course have to use an external amp. All of which starts to add up $$$.
I will let you know when I finish this project up. Thanks!
FYI, I have the Cerwin-Vega VPAS10
Well at lunchtime just to hear this thing I jacked the high input wires from the sub into the old sub connector that went the Sony sub. Well the first thing I noticed it is very loud so I really needed to crank it down. The second thing I noticed is the remote and remote cable appear to be defective. If you play with it on the remote end you can get the bass to kick in and then it will kick out when you let the cable go. Also when you turn the **** it is literally backwards, Max = Min and Min = Max. I have reached out to Cerwin-Vega over email and we will see what they say I guess. Looks like they are owned by Gibson. I am a little worried that the Cerwin Vega Mobile audio website appears to be dead.

Just as a note, I believe the signals to the stock sub connector are low level only, so if you connected that to the high level on the amp then it may be doing something funky. This is why I used the rear doors and the LC2i unit.
Also make sure you start with the head unit tone setting reset and the amp gain and DB boost set at minimum and work up slowly from there. But glad you got it working.
