I'll check but if I remember correctly it just said something like "attach green wire to striped green wire" Which didn't help much

Are there any gain or adjustments on the kicker amp? Either the aftermarket or the OEM version?

I was able to get my kicker hideaway working but really not thrilled with what it delivers. It almost gets it done but falls short. It starts to make bad noises right when it reaches necessay levels. It just doesnt have enough but it did help. I'm not looking for crazy performance just a bit more than what the little hideaway can do. I'm also not looking to cut up my truck or undertake involved custom options which is why i had high hopes for the hideaway.

Wondering if the kicker option (either oem or aftermarket) perform just a tad bit better? Looks like that enclosure has a bit more air volume to work with. I wouldn't have issue paying the difference if i knew the performance was there. JL audio has a pretty slim box if you get the non amplified version. CS110LG-TW3 is only 4.5 deep without the grill. I wonder if that could be shoe horned back there without cutting the factory carpet out and still have seats fold up?

If you are looking for something that you can feel and will deliver good performance at very low frequencies, you will probably be disappointed. If you are just looking for something to "fill out" the factory stereo then this is probably for you. Activating the factory rear subwoofer output does give me the line level inputs and remote power on that I need for a larger sub amp. I will be installing a 10" sub with a 300w mono amp that I had in my previous truck. Will probably at some point have to upgrade the rest of the speakers at some point, but will see how it sounds after install.
Which kicker sub did you try?

Confirmed. Did some more experimentation and enabling the kicker audio options in the acm sounds terrible. At first it sounds better since its brighter. Reset the acm and it sounds much much better. Even the hideaway sounds better. I'm still using the sub connector. Still have subwoofer enabled but have the kicker option errored/not configured.

Your milage may vary but from what im seeing the kicker option in the acm is counter productive.

Yep, it really works against you. Thanks for the confirmation. Spending 10 hours fine tuning it had me hearing things
