i showed up for a 9AM appt at the dealer this morning to be turned away because the service managers are idiots and had no idea how to enable in IDS... they didnt even try. the best part is, they were able to quote me (which tells me they are gouging me). hot damn waste of my time. SO, my MX adapter was ordered on amazon prime - i'll get it moving tomorrow.

 

You too far bro. In jersey I am happy to enable it for anyone whose dealer is trying to get rich by spending 30 second on computer

For crying out loud, that would be extremely frustrating. It's any wonder why dealer service depts get a bad rap.

Hopefully youll be able to make use of the MX adapter for more than just the sub enable. Enabling the high/low/fogs to run at the same time is excellent if you live in a rural area with limited lighting. Also, adding the temps above the gauges is useful too IMO. Just some ideas to consider.

 

You bet brother, lovin it. Like it better than my Kicker Substage in my old 2012, which was a 10" also... I installed the Alpine bass ****, to the right of the ignition, glad I did...

No issues, folding the seat up. Plenty of room with this sub/box combo...
