How do i know that they turned on the sub through forscan, my sub doesn't really shake the truck.
You could always measure the voltage on the power lead / ground leg with a multi-meter. If not, it is a 20 amp fuse at location 48 in the engine bay. Ask me how I know this.
There is a plug hidden behind the trim for the left rear seat belt. I'm hoping this is for the sub so I don't have to tap the rear speakers. From the wiring diagram I have seen it looks like there should be a sub signal and amp turn on there. But this has different colors so not sure yet.
Lucas,
When does this remote turn on? With accessory or with doors open? I wired my amp to fuse 23 which is accessory, but I need it to turn on when I open doors.

Any idea? Many thanks!
Hey. When the door opens. The factory kicker amp / Sony sub sometimes makes a thump when I open my doors lol
And anytime the ACM activates: open the door, unlock the truck with the remote, etc.. I had to wire a separate remote turn on.
Can you please explain that? I ran a remote to fuse 23, and I'll be moving it to that point on the harness. Did you run a separate (meaning second) remote?

The turn on wire that is built into the factory harness goes live (with +6V) whenever the ACM turns on, which is frequently before the radio, causing a pop.
So I ran my own turn on wire and didn't use the one in the harness.
