You should be able to use the sub output and wire to the high level on your amp

or there might be a sub input going into the factory amp. Can't remember off the top of my head
FYI - the connector is there (and I'm using it) on my 501a Lariat.

Not sure why it is missing on mine. It is definitely not there. Did you have the sony sub and amp?

Yep I think that is the ticket. They ran all of the wires to the SONY AMP instead of terminating them into a grey jack. Therefore there is not a connector to add an external amp for an external sub.

Yea I didn't find the connector on mine either with the sony system. The stock sub connector only puts out low frequency signals to the OEM sub, so I ended up tapping off the rear speaker leads to an lc2i and then to RCA's for the new sub/amp combo.

I'll also add that I've tried all the different setting in forscan but I swear that when you use the provided low level outputs in that harness it cuts the bass to the door speakers and also has a pretty high low pass cut off for the sub. Going to test my theory in the next day or two, but I'm going to bet just using the high level speaker outputs will be better sound wise than using the low level outputs and screwing up the sound otherwise....

Ok so l have this installed behind my seat, and l had the factory wiring harness setup to 7 speaker aux sub. I have power to the amp but the green wires on the sub side l have nothing? The sub wires show 2.2 Oms so l know it's good. What am l doing wrong and how can l get this working. I do not have foreman or OB. But am willing to buy if need be. Please help need some bass.

the physical harness or the ACM programming?

if you haven't activated the signal wires in the ACM then you'll get power, but no sound. You'll need Forscan or a dealer to enable it.
