F250 LED License plate lights
I know this topic was briefly brought up a while back but I haven't seen any posts recently. Has anyone done any more research as to whether the new LED F250 Platinum license plate light assemblies will fit into a 2016 F150?? I stopped by the Ford dealer the other night and was able to take a quick look and they look to be the same size and shape but it was too dark to crawl underneath. Thanks for the replies in advance!

Finished product...
You MUST remove approx. 1//16" from the perimeter of the new lamp housing or it won't fit properly into the recess in the bumper cover.
Hint: after you modify the first lamp housing's opening in the bumper cover, make a template. First one took about 1.5 hours. Next one took about 15 minutes.

The factory F250 units are also recessed into the housing which looks like it will cut down on the glare in the rear view camera. I know other people have had this problem when swapping out the halogen bulbs for LED units.
