Default F150 wheel offset

Hi I have a 2019 f150 lariat stock height. I bought 305/55r20’s and I am looking to get a set of wheels for them can I do 20x9 with 0 offset? Because I seen a video on YouTube saying I can but when I tried to order a set they emailed me back saying it’s not recommended to do 0 offset and to go with +25 offset.

What’s your take on this?

With that large of tire you will need to have a lift or level kit at the very least. You also may have to trim or cut your front crashbars. Give more details on your truck and a few others who post here can help.

Really? I’ve heard about people on this forum running 34s even 35s without any modifications. I thought my only problem now is the offset for my wheels apparently not. I currently have 275/55r20s on, not sure what the offset is on the wheels though. It’s a fx4

Im leveled 2.5" with 20x9 wheels 0 offset and 34's. Tires ever so slightly touched the crash bars, so i removed them as to not worry about them while on the trails..

You can stuff 34's on stock wheels at stock height. Stock wheels are around +44 offset I believe. Once you start going low off sets that's where you have issues.

+25 is the safe limit with oversize tires before you start hitting the crash bars, and is why almost everyone makes +25 rims for the F150. Some oversize tires will also fit the +18's. Past that, all bets are off on fitment.
