Default F150 Lift coil over / Fox 2.0 coil over / Rancho Quicklift

From what I have been reading on here and the Internet in general, I have been leaning towards upgrading to the coil overs from F150 Lifts or Fox 2.00. Now I see Rancho Quicklifts have come out for the 2015 and I had them on my 2006 F150 in the past. What I do not understand, is whether the Rancho Quicklifts are in the same category as the two other coil overs I mentioned. If they are, I do not understand the price difference. The Rancho Quick Lifts are a lot less expensive. Usually you get what you pay for, which is why I am seeking information in this case.

I was really happy with the Rancho quick lifts and RS9000 rear shocks I had on my 2006. They seemed to perform really well on that truck, but they were replacing stock shocks with a lot of miles on them. If I choose the Rancho quick lifts, I would also upgrade the rear shocks to rs9000 as well.

If the F150 Lifts Boss Ultimate kit or the Fox 2.0 with the added rear shocks are much better, I do not mind paying a little more for quality components that will perform well and last.

Currently, I have a Magnetic 2015 F150 Platinum SCREW 4x4 with a 6.5 ft bed and the 3.5 ecoboost engine with 3:55 gears. In the future, I would like to upgrade to 275/65/r20 BF Goodrich AT KO2's.

My truck is used for:
65% on road driving as it is my daily driver/family vehicle
20% hauling/towing on road pulling utility trailers for atv's and my mower
15% off road use in mild conditions

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to supply enough information. Are the three mentioned components in the same category? If not, can someone explain the differences?

Thank you in advance.

I ordered the Rancho Quicklifts, my truck is my daily driver as well and will be 95% street driven, I just wanted a level and preferred coilovers vs spacers. I would say the others may be better with more offroad use (could be wrong), but I don't have any experience since this is my first full sized truck. From what you listed of your truck's use, the quicklifts should be fine for you.

From what I have read and heard from forum members the fox coil over is where it is at.

The ranchos are probably not a bad option but the boss or the fox ones are a more quality option. I'm currently running the fox 2.5 coilovers and the 2.0 rear shock. The are absolutely fantastic. From Ive read the ranchos are basically Intended just for the person on a strict budget who's trying to avoid a spacer leveling kit. If you want a good Offroad shock then the boss or the fox are going to be 100% the way to go.

Default Icon stage 1

I had an Icon stage 1 coil over lift installed on my 2016 platinum. I love the ride. It gave me about 2.5" of lift.

I had the fox 2.0's on my front and back for about 10k miles. I would say for what you are doing with the truck they would be pretty perfect. Stage 3 did seem to think the F150 Boss kit had a better on road feel to it though and not much different off road, so that's something to think about. I think you would also get better service from the reps if something went wrong from f150 lifts also. Fox was pretty much worthless to me for support which is 80% of the reason I don't own their shocks and never will again.

I cannot comment on the Rancho, but have read good things.
