You're always on top of all things Ford.

Just curious but how much is the upgrade from the base engine to diesel? Hopefully its not a $9k jump like the Super Duty.

Hasn't been announced yet that I can find - Fleet or MSRP as of the 12/26/17 Price Guide

Although not officially from Ford:

"The first pricing estimates we have from Ford peg the cost of a diesel as a $4000 upcharge over the 2.7-liter EcoBoost, a $2400 premium over the cost of 3.5-liter EcoBoost, and $3000 more than a 5.0-liter V-8."

Cool! I’m looking forward to seeing how it does in the real world.

targeted to return 30mpg....so we can figure real-world to be more like 25-26.

still, impressive.

Tough I am rather disappointed that it has less torque than my 3.5EB.
And how is that a 6th engine choice?

3.3, 2.7eb, 5.0, 3.5eb....3.0 powerstroke = 5 engines? or are they counting the 3.5EB in the raptor as #5?

Wow...not available in XLT or XL. So...lower-payload trucks only?

This new V6 diesel features the same compacted-graphite iron block material construction and forged-steel crank used in the 2.7-liter EcoBoost® engine for added strength and durability along with reduced weight.

^^ That right there sorta/kinda makes me wonder if anyone remembers the 350 gas, turned diesel, from GM back last century. Think I'd sit back for awhile, and hope Ford thought of that. That engine wasn't the most reliable.

That says more about the 2.7 than in 3.0d. cgi blocks have been used in diesel applications for years. Plus, this isn't a brand new engine, just new to the pickup market.
