Eyebrow Tint

Here's a question... I had my driver/passenger side windows tinted.... back windows tinted... and sunroof tinted... they also put an eyebrow across the top of the windshield down to the AS1 line. I now notice that my lane keeping system isn't working. I assume this is the reason why? Any suggestions or has anyone else run into this problem? Before I go have the tint people modify or remove the eyebrow, I wanted to make sure that was the problem...

Have not had this issue but I would definitely mod the tint and not the system.

Make sure they didn't turn off the system. Press the button towards the back of the shifter.

If you modify the brow if will stick out like a sore thumb.

I highly doubt they ran one piece of tint across there....more than likely, the tinted up to the sides of the rear view mirror blackout.

If we are playing "if here": IF you have an at fault accident and the person suing you has an attorney and finds the mod, they may win and your insurance not support you because of the altering mod.

Just saying, IF we are going to use IF scenarios.

Mine is a one piece.

...and that's only IF they live in a state that isn't a "no fault" state ;)

I'm pretty sure my tint guy cut around the rear view mirror plastic...entire front is tinted.

Yes, cut around mirror you have to. But not 2 halfs is what I meant.

All good my friend. I've had eyebrows applied both ways, and with the blacked-out portion of the windshield, you couldn't tell if it was 2 pieces or 1...as long as it looks good, doesn't matter :)

Hopefully he can just hit the button to turn it on again.
