Default Is a extended warranty worth it?

So picked up my 18 5.0 FX4 the other week and was thinking about getting a warranty from flood. Who got the warranty and is it worth it?

if you ask me...yes it is. Because if one of the many modules craps out on you just after base warranty ends. That ESP has just paid for itself

I was looking at the 6 year 150k miles. It was around $2000 now. If I wait till the end of the factory warranty will the cost go down?

This,
I was thinking the other day, as I saw a 65 Mustang drive by. What will these trucks ride/drive like after 50 years(well, all new cars)??? The computers that control everything will either be hard to find, cost a fortune, or these will become dinosaurs and live in a junk yard, lol.

no, it might go up. Its usually cheaper to get while you are in base warranty

I have one and glad I do. New truck and warranty covered the repair but just for one headlight replacement it was $1500+. That alone would have covered my extended warranty.

If you do go for the ESP make sure you get the lighting option. Regular ESP does not cover lights

There's a significant chance you may need it with the newest 5.0.

ESP = Peace of Mind. Had a new engine put in a 2005 Expy EB before buying the F150. Had I not had the ESP, I'd be about 9K poorer.
