Extang Trifecta Questions
So as I’m getting closer to picking up a travel trailer, every pound of payload counts. I’m looking to unload my Bak Revolver X2 as it’s quite heavy.
I’d prefer a on rail design over the in bed rail systems. I couldn’t care less about flush mount.
My first inclination was a Extang Solid Fold 2.0 but I’ve read way too many leaking posts. So now I’m sorta leaning towards the Extang Trifecta as it’s supposed to be light and pretty water tight. If anybody has a better alternative please let me know.
Questions - does this tonneau sag with rain or snow? Does it flap going down the road? Is the Signature version worth it? Is it as water tight as I’ve been reading?
My truck is in the NE. Outside at all times, no shade.
Thanks.

I have the extang trifecta and I like it. No issues with it. Easy to take off when I haul stuff needing the whole bed. No issues with leaks, no sagging from rain or snow, and very little flapping going down the road.

I have the Solid Fold 2 and have not experienced any leaks.

I’ve read dozens of threads and watched a bunch of YouTube videos showing the leaks. Many posts on our forum here too.
Just out of interest how heavy is the Solid Fold?

This one is only a year old. Purchased one with my 2011 and used it on my 2013 until I bought the 2017. Never had a leak.

I have the trifecta 2.0. Nice and light easy on/off (like 120 seconds easy) But it does flap a bit while on the road
