Default Exhaust prices 2014 to 2015

Why is the aftermarket 2015 exhaust twice as much as the 2014 and older?

Is there some big change under there?

Supply and demand. They figure most people have already done what they want to for the older models and inflate prices for newer material.

This is why I purchased a 2014 exhaust. Fits just fine on the 15's

Is that true? I've been eye-balling the Roush exhaust because I want the side exit and not willing to pay for Magnaflow and not the biggest fan of Gibson on these trucks.

There are a ton of dual, you choice of exit, exhaust on Ebay for $250 or so. Your choice of mufflers. The '15 gets the single sided and 4100 right off the bat. You want a nice dual it's $500 or better. from what I see. Thing is, there's just lots more choices for the '14-earlier 5.0

It's brand new. Give it some time and it'll get cheaper.

In general, 15-16 exhaust break into 3 categories.

Aluminized, budget systems (MBRP, gibson): $300-450

409 stainless, single/dual mid range systems: $500-700

304 stainless, single/dual high end systems: $750-1300

There's plenty to fit multiple budget ranges.

mxer90, which exhaust did you buy that fits the 15? This has been the single biggest question I've had that's yet to be answered by anyone that could save us a ton of money. Namely getting the Corsa db system rather than the expensive sport system.

The corsa DB is their budget system for the 11-14 kit.

Yep I bought the rear exit roush and the only issue I had was it clearing the hitch by about half an inch. Easy to fix. The side exit should have no problem.
