No other parts; unbolt the old resonator, swap, bolt on. That’s it.

i have a 2017 5.0, sounds good but i too want just a tad more sound and I also was interested in the 12279 magnaflow muffler. has anyone put one on a 2017?

That is the muffler I was going to install, until Chip come thru with this option to do. Was not crazy about cutting and welding in a new muffler so i chose the 2017 resonator route

Hi SGB, the 12249 muffler has been our most popular unit to use as an upgrade on light trucks. As long as you have the stock resonator it will only be slightly louder than the stock muffler; most of the difference is in the tone. If you wanted something that was stock volume, we would recommend going with the 24" unit.
