Default Exhaust help and advice

Hey guys I’m looking for some input on a new muffler for my 2016 5.0 f150. It seems like a lot of guys are using the center in center out 18 in maganaflow # 12249. I have been looking at you tube sound clips, I know almost impossible to gauge sound of an internet vid. It seems like the 12249 might be a tad too loud so I’m contemplating ordering the 24in 3in center in 3in center out 24 in magnaflow # 12279. Has anyone went with this muffler and how has it worked out? I seem to like the sound of magnaflow better then flow master, I have had magnaflow on my last two trucks. Any advice or input will be welcome. Thanks!

Ill be watching too. I think the 12249 as long as you keep the resonator, won;t be that loud.

I plan on keeping the resonator. I just want a little more sound not a lot.

I did resonator swap; night-and-day difference (and only $60 and ~30 minutes of time in the garage)

Yes, 2016 stock muffler still in place. Just swapped the resonator with the 2017 revision. No welding; all bolts.

Part number is GL3Z-5A212-B (2017 revision).

I put the Flowmaster Force II on my truck. I like this. I still have my factory exhaust and may try this. The drone inside with the Flowmaster is annoying in certain RPM ranges.

I'm assuming this is fairly quiet inside. Is that correct? Also, it was just a bolt on and off. No additional parts required?
