Default Exhaust...18 5.0
Did a flowmaster 40 and res delete and I couldn't be more disappointed in the quality of the sound it produces. Anyone have any different mufflers they would recommend? I was looking for that deep rumble and it seems like the exhaust shop sold me the 40 as it was what he had in stock and not what I wanted.

Maybe a magnaflow? I removed my magnaflow for a corsa and am happy with it.

I had the local shop weld in a Borla XR-1, model 40085. Deep and not raspy, can hardly hear it at highway cruising speeds, but at WOT, everyone knows its a V8!

Did you remove the resonator? The 40 series is really raspy, and that's what I am trying to steer away from.

Nope, just muffler. Resonator is intact. No drone, no rasp and minor "popping/crackle" on deceleration, and even then, it's not always present.

Roush here. Excellent tone. It is loud. But couldn't sound better, especially the downshift from 3 to 2. Beauty.

I had the Roush on my 13 & 14 5.0, while I loved it my wife threatened to divorce me! Hahaha
