I'm glad this engine thing is now settled.

I wonder what their favorite color is.

Maybe they will do a video on that too.

I drove a 5.0 in a rental truck for about 2000 miles after owning a 2014 ecoboost. no way would I pick the 5.0, so much more power right where you want it with the ecoboost. the motor never seems to be breaking a sweat.

I'd like to see them ask the same question for the 2017 F250. 6.2 V8 or 6.7 Diesel Turbo.

I bet the no turbo/naturally aspirated excuse goes out the window.

Imagine that, a mechanic choosing something easier to work on. Although a 5.0 is a good engine, it's nowhere near the engine the 3.5 EcoBoost is. Simpler, yes. Better, its subjective to any one persons likes. I'd have been happy with either really. Were it not for the 10 sp option, i probably would have bought a 5.0.

Maybe entertaining to watch but as I said elsewhere, I would not make a purchase decision on what these folks think. I'm sure they are good guys but...

A deciding factor for me was the max tow package ( not offered on the 5.0 )

Must have a glut of 5.0's they need to get rid of to make room for the 2.7 and 3.5.

What I like about all the different motors is the fact that we have so many really good choices. Something for everyone. You get to pick out what you like and or need.

Sounded to me like they were not very educated on the engines. One guy was talking about how he would pick 5.0 because he wanted the extra muscle to tow and another said the ecoboost engine needed a lot of gas pedal input to keep it in the meat of the power.

I picked the 5.0 because of the reliability. Too many horror stories on the EB either platform.
