Employee Pricing
#42
Just talked to my dealer. Sounds like the employee pricing is good for the 2018's here in Saskatchewan, also. Like it was mentioned, we lose the 4750 delivery allowance, only getting 1500. To me, sounds like a no-brainer to order exactly what I want. The truck I was just about to buy had an option or two that I didn't really want, so ordering a new one won't be much more

I bought my truck on 5/1/2017. I work for Ford so I got the D plan pricing. MSRP was 43k. It's a fully loaded XL STX package. D plan gave me $6,500 in discount, then there was $6,000 based on current incentives/discounts. Then, an additional $3,500. So, a total of $16,000 in discounts.

So, you are saying you bought a new 2017 $43K MSRP STX for $27K? That doesn't seem possible, even with D plan pricing. Unless of course, there are other factors, like you taking a substantial hit on a trade in. I'll be the first to admit I would be wrong if there is evidence (like a sales invoice, posted for us to see) otherwise.

I'm thinking its not possible either. Unless carlo_m.e posts his invoice, lets just say it didn't happen...
XL/STX package only had a $5050 rebate.
Again, where did the EXTRA $3500 come from?
and I don't believe d-plan yields $6500 OFF on a 43K vehicle.
sounds like hot air and potential bragging.

I think this is not true. Yes, it is a perk - but you have this perk 12 months a year and we, mortals, 1 month a year and it is not guaranteed. Also, how often do Ford employees use it? It is _supposed_ to be only for them and family. Abusing it may result in termination.

I got my XLT 302A with Xplan pricing that was around $3200 off sticker then 6K incentives and Ford financing, so what was posted doesn't sound too unreasonable. Although with the X-Plan all negotiating was out the window at the dealer I used. I was happy with $9200 off sticker.

I am on the east coast of Canada. In Nova Scotia to be exact and every July and August the employee pricing promotion runs.
You topically get 11-12K off sticker (XLT or above) and -$1000 Costco if you have it. So a total $13K off.
If you wait till the last couple of days of the month another $1000 can be negotiated.
I have bought all my f150 during this type of sale and usually close a deal at $14K off on all my XLTs
