For the tailgate I'd go with the style in the top picture, changing the red to whatever. If you have white bars on the grille, I'd go with the emblem in the second picture. If you have a black grille, then I'd go with the reverse of the above with white Ford script on a black field. I saw one in this thread. Gives a nice clean appearance on both ends. What you have on the front certainly doesn't have to match what's on the back. I have an all black STX, so I did gloss and matte black emblems, both front and rear. If I had an all white STX, I'd do the top picture on the tailgate with black Ford script. For the grille, black field with while Ford script. No question.
