Thanks guys for the opinions. Yeah I bought my porter cable compressor and fastener combo for all the house remodeling I've done and it's worked great for all that---well worth it. I always figured I would use it for my cars eventually but failed to spec it out for that before I bought out---lesson learned!

I will look into the cordless ones tho for sure (hell even corded ones are fine if they are cheaper), especially if it's something I can use again in the future.

Hey those compressor/nailer combos are a great deal. I had a bostich one for years that finally quit on me a couple of years ago which why I got the rigid. It's perfect for running pretty much any nailer - even my big **** framing nailer - and easy to carry around. I use it all the time.

If you don't mind running a cord the corded ones are great too - you'll probably get more power for the money - just like corded drill vs cordless drill etc.

I'm a bit of a tool-o-phile...the wife tells me my garage looks like a small town hardware store...and I digress..

Yeeeeah me too dude. And I live in a townhouse. Tools fill my small utility room and tiny shed in the back. Can't wait to buy a real house with a garage. I just can't see paying someone to do certain things.

I'm the same way - I don't work on HVAC but I'll dabble in most everything else...and we bought a house that needed a little work knowing I could do a lot of that stuff...not sure if I really saved any money with all of the tools I bought but I've got em if I need em...

It's a slippery slope - buying tools that is...but I just hate being in the middle of a project and having to run to Home Depot to get something...so I kinda overbuy with the idea that I'm going to "take back what I don't use". The wife used to believe that - now she just shakes her head and pretends not to notice when I come back from there...

I suppose there are worse habits to have...like compulsively buying stuff for or doing stuff to your truck...wait

Put about 4k miles on them. They still ride great. I just wished that Eibach offered extended lengths for trucks with 4-5" of lift in the rear.

I've had mine on now for over a year andI'm still happy with them. Finally got new tires today, 275/70 R18 BFG All Terrains. They're a much heavier tire than the Goodyear minivan all season P rated tire that came on the truck. It does ride differently now. Most of the harshness of big impacts is gone. Still a much firmer and controlled ride than stock.

Obligatory crappy cell phone pics, spring perches set at the highest level approx. 2".

I just grabbed a full stage 1 set from Eibach-fronts, rears, and springs. Won't put them on for a while, gonna save for tires but I'm super excited.
