Exactly. Only the dealers that made the investment in training and equipment should be working on your truck. This is extremely important when it comes to paint, body and collision damage.

So when I call them and tell them the issues I'm having will they say wether or not they are certified? Or I'd that something I should ask up front?

Yes, ask. Then have their body shop show you the ProSpot equipment, aluminum repair station, dedicated tools and the aluminum clean room.

I called Ford and they said any dealership could fix it because it's just paint, they aren't doing any aluminum work.

Well, it's your truck. If the dealer wasn't willing to make the investment in training and equipment, why would you trust them to make a correct repair?

because its paint. lol they have done paint work for me previously on my last truck. if they were actually doing aluminium work it would be a different story.
