Default Driver Side Blinker Help

Needing a bit of help and yes I did search but was not able to find this issue with the 2015-2020 trucks only older. My driver side blinker is hyperflashing but the bulbs are still working and flashing at normal speeds and the passanger side is working fine. I do have Diode Dynamics headlights, fog lights, and tail lights as well. Was debating on changing the BCM code via forscan but since only one side is malfunctioning didn't want to mess anything else up. Anyone have an idea of what to check?

Thanks!

Start simple swap bulbs from passenger to drivers side and vice a versa. If it follows it is the bulb, yes the bulb can still cause this because of the CanBus that works it is looking for a certain resistance if it is to high it reads it as burnt out. Did this start right after swapping the other bulbs or just on it's own? If on it's own the above should help figure it out.

Just started yesterday on it's own. I changed other bulbs back in April.

I think I read somewhere that if one of the Hazard bulbs is out, the Turn signals behave like that. Check your Hazard lights.

There are two turn signal bulbs in each tail light, an upper and a lower. I discovered this after having the same issue. Bulb is a 3157.

Hi there! Are the LED turn signal bulbs that are flickering our bulbs?

The hazard bulbs are just the turn signal bulbs flashing simultaneously, they are not separate bulbs.

OP - If you've installed LED's for all LED corner bulbs and you didn't get hyperflash, one of the LED's is dumping too much current through the drive circuit bypassing the LED.

If you didn't replace all corner bulbs with LED, the circuit resistance for that side is going to fall somewhere between LED range and incandescent range, and that's where the threshold for determining bulb out exists. It's possible to end up on either side of that threshold when running both types on a vehicle.
