Ok so when mine was at the dealer they worked with ford tech's at ford and changed the following from a brand new truck on the lot. Tires/wheels, drive shaft, front wheel axles ect. and checked angles of many components, back lash in rear end on and many other items. This happened thru a couple of months of dropping it off and picking it back up. The final test was the vibration analyzer from ford. The outcome was they could not pinpoint the problem and it fell within the ford specs. (which they would not tell me). The service manager did state they have seen many vibration problems in the 2015 - up. He suspects it's due to the aluminum body and how it reacts to vibration. I will say they tried very hard to correct the problem. I have found that if I push the steering wheel column all the way forward it is barely noticeable and have learned to live with it. Has anyone tried pulling the steering column all the way out then all the way forward? It is makes a big difference in my truck.

OP I've been going through the same issues, I just got my driveshaft replaced on Friday it improved a lot from the vibrations I was experiencing but it's still not 100% to my liking and I'm beginning to think that what you guys are saying about the aluminum resonating a lot more than steel might definetly be a factor in all of this.

Just a quick post anyone with the vibrations live in Ogden, Utah ? If so you may want to try going to Weder State University and seeing professor John Kelly. He should be able to find what is causing all the vibration issuers with are trucks. I live in upstate NY and it's to far for me. If he does find a fix please pass the fix long.

I just started getting an on and off vibration as well and I know what's causing it. The same thing happened on my 05. The parking brake doesn't completely release properly causing dragging and vibration. Try putting your parking brake on while driving and release it. That usually stops the vibration. I stopped using my parking brake recently and I think that's why it started acting up so now I'm using it everytime I park.

Just throwing that out there.

Since having my driveshaft replaced they've also replaced the transmission valve body which didn't fix the problem, now they're currently replacing the entire exhaust system the techs at my dealer still don't know what's causing it, Ford engineers directed them to replace the exhaust in hopes that's this fixes the issue.
Needless to say I don't feel confident this is the cause, they're just throwing parts and money at it at this point.

I also have this problem, it definitely has to be related to a driveshaft imbalance or angle issue.

It starts almost right at 48mph and stops at 55mph. You feel it more if you're in 5th gear than you do if you're in 6th gear. It feels very similar to a problem I had with my older CLK500 Mercedes. In that car it had an issue where coolant can seep into the transmission, eating up the clutch packs and causing havoc. As a result, sometimes the clutch packs would start to slip on acceleration and you would hear a slight hum and vibration.

This is not the same issue, as it also occurs while coasting in neutral and under light engine load, but it gives you the same type of feeling.

I'm really hoping there is a TSB that can accurately identify and fix this issue once and for all. The only other problem I have on my truck is the vibration / noise from the panoramic roof (which sometimes gets better when I open and close it, forming a fresh seal).

2015-2016 - F-150 - Vibration On Acceleration Or Cruise - Inspect For Proper Driveshaft Installation

Some 2015-2016 F-150 vehicles may exhibit a vibration on acceleration or cruise that is originating from the driveshaft and/or rear axle. During preliminary inspection look for visible driveshaft damage, alignment of the axle pinion flange to driveshaft flange yellow dots, and that the rear driveshaft flange sits flat on the axle pinion flange.

Vibrations issues have been in every Ford F150 pickup i've had since 2012.
You ever live/deal with it or trade it. It's just an endless "guess" of what's causing it, then being told "oh, its just the "harmonics" of a truck suspension."

2012- regular cab
2013- super cab
2014 - regular cab Tremor


2015 - CHEVY Silverado Double Cab - - smooth as glass.
2016 - NISSAN TITAN - - very smooth...


2017 - none so far (supercab)
