I believe he was referring to the fact that the shields they have been installing since late last year as the fix for this are not working in many cases. It is rumored that Ford is working on a more permanent fix that they would likely have ready before winter. I haven't had any issues thus far, but don't want my doors taken apart once, much less twice so I will be waiting it out to see what becomes of the permanent fix.

Got mine back today they had it a day and half.

They had mine for a day and a half to do the recall. When picking up the truck I immediately found that the driver side rear door panel was incorrectly installed and they took it back for 15 min to fix it. Today, a couple days later, I noticed that they damaged the passenger rear door and will be ordering a new door panel to replace next week. This is becoming a big pain in the rear for something that I was purposely not requesting. They simply said at my last oil change that I had the recall, so I asked them if they had done many of these yet. They said they had done "a ton of them" so I scheduled the job. Ugh.
