Door/body fitment issue.-20150515_175248-1-1.jpg

Is there any TSB on this misalignment between doors?

This is not a perfect angle shot and it looks worse when you're standing in front of it. Luckily no other issues except the look.

No TSB that I've heard of. Honestly, my fiancé and I already decided that my truck is going in 2-3 years because of the door problem. Mine don't have as much of the wind noise concern, but they shake like crazy over bumps or in cold weather (just driving down the road). Dealership is going to send it to an independent body shop soon but I have no hope that will fix the problem. It's unfortunate, because I was planning to keep the truck for a long, long time...but I can't live the with the annoying door rattle.

My door shakes all the time to. I'm going home to put additional weather stripping on it. It's so friggin annoying. My brothers 150K+ Tacoma has better fit and finish then my lariat.

Yes, for as much as my F150 offers that my 2009 Tacoma didn't, the fit and finish of the Tacoma was one area where it absolutely betters the F150.

Man, that's sad. But to me the saddest thing is that type of misalignment is allowed to pass. You know they see it, how could they not? Obviously Ford feels this is within tolerance. Definitely not worth it to them to stop the line or deal with post build. Gotta hit that quota. I do believe they feel the majority of their truck buyers won't care, sad....

Agreed. And it's because a majority of truck buyers actually don't care, or never notice.

Mine is in now for a list of things. Panel alignment one of them. They already have hours into my panels. Last time they said it's as good as it gets. Then I sit at a light looking at a $10,000 new nissan micra sitting beside my $50,000 truck and micra panels are perfect.
I had to silicone the inside of my box because the colder it got the more the gap opened up from box floor to box side. I was worried about road salt getting in. I already had a good pile of road sand in there already.

Body panel misalignment has been the norm for quality for years across all manufacturers. Yes ALL. Some are OK, some are not. If it bothers you, see about getting it fixed. Most people never notice, or care.
