Don't advertise for your dealer - Get rid of that rediculous Dealer Decal

Yeah my dealer had so many dealer logos on my truck it felt like a freaking billboard. Dealer plates, plate frames, window stickers front, rear and sides! They even drilled into my fenders to put on crappy non-oem dealer logo'd mud flaps!
I asked them to replace the mud flaps with OEM and they refused. Grrrrrr.
After I bought the truck I drove off the lot. Parked in front of the showroom on the street and proceeded to remove all the stickers, plate frames, and mud flaps in full view of the sales weasels and chucked them in the trash bin.
I had to keep the plates on until my legit plates. Arrived. Truck looks SO much better without all that garbage on it.

new used or whatever its the first thing I do with any car I buy is to take it off and / or change the License plate brackets too. Whether good exp or not I just dont feel that I should advertise for them!!! they come off asap.

Huge pet peeve for me! It amazes me how many vehicles are on the road with dealer stickers and emblems, many crooked or out of place. No free advertising for me thanks, please remove at delivery. I will leave on the plate frame on until my new plates come in, then bye bye.
I got a kick out of the Yeti reference too. Amazing business model there. That Marketing director at Yeti deserves at huge pay raise. Impressive, charge 8 times more for your cooler and people put Yeti stickers on their cars and wear Yeti hats. Well done! I get it some people do need a premium cooler and need ice to last more than 3 days if they are out in the boonies. Otherwise, ice in my area costs around $2 for a bag of ice and is generally pretty plentiful.

I had the dealer remove the dealer stuff when they readied it for me yesterday. However I didn't notice I had decals on both rear quarters that said Sport 4X4 or some such thing. Can these be removed? The sales rep said she thought they were clear coated.

Yes they can, many have removed them. I left mine, I don't mind them over the dealer stuff. I had the dealer remove any logos/stickers before I left the lot.
