My wife asked me why people report every car on the shoulder and why I do the same. I told her it was just to let people know that there is a friendly Wazer in front of them.

I’m an Apple fan but have no interest in converting others from Android. They’re all expensive and all do pretty much the same thing.......
But if it matters to you, our iPhones work quickly, flawlessly, and 100% glitch free in our Acura TLX. I’m convinced that either Android or Microsoft builds the Ford Sync system. Lol.

Not using Apple, and if this is only for them, sorry. I keep my apps updated, I've never seen my speed off by more than a few MPH. I am using AA/USB cable, it doesn't bother me one eye-iota to have it connected and always charged!

Somebody needs to help get us to where the government sets unbreakable speed governors on cars so we stop killing tens of thousands every year

I noticed the speed discrepancy as well... I haven't done the math, but is it possible that when it's connected to SYNC, it calculates to Kmph even though I've selected Imperial?

Even the 85 mph mentioned above would be like 136 kph

It's not the speed as much as bored and/or distracted drivers. Also drivers that have no business being behind the wheel and before you go off on me there are probably more young drivers that fit this than elderly ones.

I take back saying it was a Waze problem. It’s iOS. I have a Speedometer app (the icon is a digital ‘55’). Same issue. When plugged into my USB in my F150 it’s off by the same 15 or so %. Unplug iPhone and speed reads correctly. Plug back in and it’s off again.
