Dome/Courtesy Light Issue?

Try hitting the light button when the door is closed and see if that does anything.

the button turns orange or lights up, but no lights regardless of the setting here

I just read your post again. Didn't realized they don't come on at all. Fuse 1 in the passenger compartment fuse panel protects all these items:
Demand lamp relay.
Power seats relay.
Glove box.
Vanity lamps.
Overhead console.
Dome.
Courtesy.
Map lamps.

Not sure what equipment you have, but are any of those other items not working? I'd check that fuse.

they all work. just no lights when the door is open. Sounds like I need to take this thing back to the dealer to figure out. They took receipt of the custom order. Not my problem to try to figure out

I do have forscan. Any way to fix? Really don't want to have to go back to the dealer.
