Does anyone store their trucks for the winter? If so what winter beater do you drive?

I think it really depends on your situation. I know people who drive newer trucks for daily drivers and have nice cars for summer and I also know people who drive compact beater cars that get 30mpg+ for daily drivers while having a nice truck in the garage. At the end of the day, whatever makes you happy.

Sadly mine is stored at dealership every winter. Main use is winter activities and some towing in summer. Hopefully I get a good one that doesn’t have lock and latch issues if I give Ford another chance. If you store in winter hopefully it is a 2 wheel drive. I also feel way safer in a truck then a car in winter driving conditions. WA has tons of cruddy weather plus too much traffic in Puget Sound area.

I love my f150 more than anything but its still just an F150 so why store a depreciating mass made truck? My winters last about 6 months so if im going to be driving in it i want to be doing so in luxury lol

I know a guy who has a Ford GT and never drives it. He hauls it around in a trailer in the summer to car shows.
I have two other 4WD trucks and a 2WD truck. I mostly drive the 2WD in winter, but when I wanted to drive 4WD this winter, I drove one of the other ones.

The class is well worth it. I did the 3 day in 2014. I did a 2 day in 16. I have a certificate for the class with the new car, so I will be doing it again before next April. You learn a lot, but it is also very fun. You learn to slide the car through corners at very high rates of speed, you can actually throttle steer this car. Very Fun.

My 1977 has been garaged for the winter all it's life. That's partially why it only has 55k miles on it.

I drive all my cars and trucks 365 days a year and will be used for the desired task. For my M3, I just have a good winter setup which allows me to get around better than most 4wd/AWD vehicles with ****ty tires. Plus I have done numerious driving schools and drive it on track on a regular basis so I am very comfortable with correct throttle and driving sideways. I drive this when I don't want or need to drive the truck. The F150 gets driven when it needs to carry stuff, tow stuff, need multiple people and gear like to a hockey game or I just feel like driving the truck. No matter the conditions.
