Default Does anyone have a Roush F150

I have been looking to renew my truck passion since the last time I was on this forum. It has been almost 8 months since I have been on here. Last time I was here I got a lot of info and was close to purchase a new F150 but with loosing my job I was unable to get one. I now have a great job and after I rebuild my credit I look forward to purchasing my truck. The Shelby is out of the question all because of price. So I am looking at either the Raptor or the Roush. From what I remember and have seen recently the Raptor doesn't come with a V8, a choice I would prefer to have. Would it be safe to say I should wait on a Raptor or get a Roush?

I wish. This is my dream: http://www.roushperformance.com/part...r-Phase-2.html

Part of the $22,000 Roush package that includes suspension and appearance upgrades. 650 HP!! That is sick!

What would you like to know? It was my understanding that the 2017 Raptor will have an eco-bust engine and a 10-speed tranny. If you're set on the 5.0 I'd go with the Roush.

Before I bought this, I test drove a naturally aspirated 5.0 Roush F-150 and it was awesome. Had a lot more power than my 2004 5.4l F-150.

Depends on your wallet I guess. I'll let you know in 100K miles. Pretty cool to have the horses, I just worry about longevity.

Oh, and just because it's a rule: Are you sure your EGA can handle the power?

See where it says Roush on the intake, and the pulley and belt right in front of it?

Yeah my EGA can handle the power. They don't say Marines are the best for nothing.

I have the 14' Roush 5.0 and it is wonderful to drive. Has been holding up great, about 25,000 miles on it with a heavy foot. Seem to always pull away from the raptors at the light as well.....
