For the well pretty good. Lock to lock at ride height and 1/2" clearance at closest points.
Looks decent too me
They stick out just right,,,
They are just about even with the steps,,,

Are you sure those are 285s? They seem to stick out a lot further than the 285s I've seen.
And I don't remember anyone saying you need a lift to run 285s. In fact I read quite the opposite. Anyway, congrats. Tires look good on your truck.

9" wide wheel. Makes the sides budge out a bit more I guess.

I went with the 9" wheel cause I wanted the tire to sit square on the wheel. The 285/70 fits perfectly. As far as the lift goes I just did a bunch of reading and every post I say was running a leveling kit to fit the 285's. Maybe on the stock width she'll makes it fit differently??? I have no idea. I have the rancho 3" kit that I will probably put in anyways.

I sure you'll be fine on paved roads normal driving, but 1/2" clearance won't cut it if you use your truck as a truck off road or in the snow.
I like the style of the wheels. I've seen enough F150s with ugly black wheels to last a lifetime.

I think they stick out more because the offset of the aftermarket rims is different than the factory wheels.
