There's a small convo going about that. Texas is the same way, 4 is legal. I wasn't aware the F250's have 6 on now, I don't see how that works, or why there's even 4 on in the headlights with low beams.

I refer to these as 'driving' lights and drive with these on.

I bet most just consider the dual super suty lights as a single light since its in one single housing.

Some good information about fog lights can be found here: https://www.danielsternlighting.com/...fog_lamps.html

Why is Daniel Stern an expert and why hasn't he updated his website since 2008?

Driving with fog lights on is great and all but kills your night vision. Too much foreground light.

Hah! Good point about his website. He's a lighting consultant, obviously, and knows a lot of a lot more about light and lighting than most of the people posting in this thread.

I don't think an updated website makes the information any more or less accurate. Do you need a flashy new UI to trust the information? Maybe his website serves his purpose as-is. Who knows? How come Internet Brands uses the antiquated vBulletin software for this forum? The UI is horrible and makes for a poor user experience (especially mobile) and yet we all still use it.

The 'hot spot' of the light looks like it's behind the blinker in the center, maybe it's 1 bulb in a large '2 piece' housing?

As for the thread: Parks + Fogs for DRLs & Fogs on always with headlights + Bambi mode.
