All three will work: Keypad, door handle pad or fob.

So here’s another question, if you hide the fob in the truck and lock it with the keypad. Couldn’t someone just walk up and touch the contact on the handle get in and start it because the fob is inside ?

Yes, that's why many on the forums highly recommend NOT doing that. I Never leave the fobs in my vehicles.

Not if the fob is programmed for facial recognition.

No. The truck knows the fob is inside and disabled that ability to open. You lock and unlock with the fob. It's in the manual.

Yes.

Because otherwise idiots would let it run for hours.

Humm, so I’d you left the fob inside you would lock the door with the two buttons on the keypad?
Then unlock with the pad

Of course emergency workers that did this are not idiots, it's the guy who leaves their kids in a running vehicle while running in the store.

You can pull the 2018 manual from owner.ford.com and read about all these features...
You sure seem to be one angry guy. Maybe a bit of a short fuse or possibly a bit short in other areas...
