I fail to understand just WHY mikemtn cares whether anyone else disables A.S.S. He is free to use it, and we want to be free to NOT use it. Just WHY is he going to so much trouble to convince us that using it is the "right thing to do"?

I have never said that using it is the right thing to do. I've never tried to convince anyone to use it. I've never tried to get anyone to try it. I've never thought anyone should use it. There's just been so much misinformation on here about it that I've tried to explain away.

Wait until it's 90 degrees out and its turning the phucking AC off at red lights.
Not that I care whether anyone uses it or not, but living in Phoenix I've been there. The a/c runs for a few seconds and if the interior starts warming up, the engine re-starts.

That sounds totally stupid, what is the the point of intermittent discomfort.

If you look in the other thread, you have cold storage that prevents this. Lol

It may sound stupid, but in practice it never gets uncomfortable. Maybe I'm just lucky that every time it's too warm (or cold) my S/S decides not to work for "Vehicle Charging."
