New to the forum, and personally I hate A.S.S. functionality in any vehicles. Also, cylinder deactivation is even worse, as owner of Honda that has it, where I had to replace the engine (where mine didn't get covered under their class action lawsuit).

Anyhow, do you have a picture of which cable you unplugged? That will be very helpful.

I don't get this thread. Just use the button on the dash. It quickly becomes habit. There are lots of things worthy of attention in this world. This is not one of them.

Are you saying that folks have no business eliminating this constant irritation, simply because it doesn't bother you too much?
