Alta redneck

Hi all, I'm an avid dirt biker and have always owned either regular cab or ext cab 6.5' box trucks so I've never had to worry about being able to close my tailgate with only one bike in the box. My next truck will most likely be a crew cab and with the size of my garage I'm unsure if I'll be able to fit a crew cab 6.5' box truck inside. If that's the cAse I may end up with the 5.5' box. I was just wondering if it's possible to fit a single full size bike in a 5.5' box on the diagonal and close the tailgate.

I have 15 crew with a 5.5' bed. 14 ktm 450 xcw fits diagonally in the bed with some room to spare

Cool I was going to leave the tailgate down for my 530 exc Supermoto nice to know it fits with the tailgate up. How do you tie it down then... Right handlebar to rear tie down/left handlebar to front tie down then?

I can fit one diagonally or two adult and two kids bikes using the tailgate extender. The extender is a must have for the dirt bike crowd in my opinion.
