Yes, the hi beam and fogs are basically interchangeable. Initially, when I installed my tinted fogs, I took the hi beam bulb and stuck in those housings. They're so dark, they were 100% useless. So I got some SL1's and stuck in there. Still, no good except for looks. Ordered some Morimoto LED knockoffs for the fogs that a couple guys recommended, and going to stick the SL1's in the hi beam. I think it'll all work out.

I'm curious what you guys think of them in the high beams. Even with the higher wattage halogen, I'd like more out of my high beams.

I'll let you know when I do the swap. My fogs are on the slow boat from china as we speak. Looks like it will next month, at least for me, unless the bloody boat is actually an airplane.

not impressed at all with the SL1 high beams i installed...dont seem to project pass the SL1 low beams ...low beams are good however

I installed LED bulbs in the high beams that have the chips positioned just like the SL1's, light scattered everywhere........

Seems like a problem...Mine is very bright and Throw farther than the Lows.

I am buying a set of lows if they go on sale. Hard to beat that 3 year warranty!

That is my biggest concern and keeping me from ordering Hi/low/fog in SL1.
