Question Defroster/Defogger addition

Hi
Can't find anything about this online maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
I have a 2015 f150 xlt supercab 6.5ft bed.
I have the sync2 I believe but it does not have the heated seats, power seats, or the rear defroster/defogger.
I want to add it if it is an easy/reasonable install I have seen aftermarket generic car kits that just have heat-conducting wires but I would really want to go factory (with an aftermarket switch so I dont have to mess with the dash too much).
Is this possible and what is the factory solution is it hot air being piped to the back or is it conductive wires.
Thank You!

My '18 302A package just has the standard wires in the back window, like any other rear window defroster.

It’s a wired system. In my 2015 low end xl, the wires are there already. Do you have heated mirrors? If you do, the control that turns them on turns on the window also.

I dont have heated mirrors Ill look up the wiring tho and see if it is there. Thanks for the quick response guys! Mirrors might be an upgrade in my future, I live in colorado so I dont need them all the time but it can mean the difference between hitting something and not on the day that I do need it. Thanks Again!

Yeah, I live in Colorado as well on the West Slope and the heated mirrors and rear defroster are a couple of the reasons I opted for the XLT 302A package. I'd love to add puddle lights to my mirrors as well, but it's not worth the headache to me just yet.
