I bought mine with X plan so I didn't really have to negotiate any deals. With that being said, I went to a different dealership here in the DFW Metroplex to check out a KR they had because admittedly, I am love with that truck.

Anyway, this is a large volume dealership and they only had 4 '15s on the lot and about 100 '14s. I asked the guy about a particular VIN and he went in and looked it up. He drove me to a site about 3 miles away from the dealership and there were probably 40 2015s sitting there packed in like sardines. I said "what gives, man? would these things not fly off the lot?". He said they were pushing the '14s. I'm thinking they are not worried about selling the '15s therefore they probably wouldn't be willing to negotiate much.

I don't know how long they've had that KR I looked at, but you'd think they would want to clean it up and put it right out front. They only had a Blue Platinum and a Bronze 4x2 sitting out front.

The dealers might purposely be holding back on the 2015 selection, to push buyers to the 2014's. That might indicate that newer trumps cheaper in this instance, and people are waiting for the newer.

One local dealer here has 6 2015's listed, and 173 2014's. Today.
