Dash Cam Suggestions?
Another Blackvue here, 900XPlus. Love the cam, bought it after I got rear-ended at a light in Febuary? of 2023. Luckily the guy that hit me was cool and no damage to my truck. Got a backup battery for 12 hours of parking recording. I tried to upload a video from a few weeks ago when someone hit a puddle and pulled in front of me but it's too big.
Also, not using the cloud. Got a blackvue 256 card with it and 2 Sandisk High Endurance card that work just as well for 1/2 the price.

I can vote for Blackvue also.
I have a single dual cam set, and wires threaded through both the truck and the car, move it when...
I have Wifi in the garage, things update in the driveway.
It used too, pretty sure it still will, auto 'upload' to my local Wifi and server.
I like no extra screen - I watch on my phone by wifi when necessary.
I think they are safety lawyer scared, but it will never show rear view as though you are mentally looking in a rear view mirror. It always shows camera view, as though you rotated in the seat and looked through the rear window (like for court!). It will flip images up/down for install concerns (which way the wire leads off better...).

I got a Garmin Dash Cam Mini. I didn't want some giant thing hanging off the windshield. The Garmin is completely out of sight behind the rear view mirror.
I used a Dongar mirror power adapter to get power for the camera. It works great and made it a simple plug and play solution.

I purchased the Mercylion hidden dash cam about two months ago. Works great, easy to run great night vision and decently priced. Check out some YouTube reviews. This camera doesent use batteries but a capacitor for storing power, which has some benefits.
