Just to report how my fix has worked….

It has been a long, hot summer this year here in Phoenix. The fan relay has had no problems whatsoever, unlike the past two summers where the relay would fry. So, I’d consider this a permanent fix to the problem.

I see you were able to get the BJB disassembled. I opened mine up too but for a different reason. I added an extra fuse slot for Hot in start/run for my compressor. I installed rear bags do the truck bed ain’t sagging when I’m hauling a “load”.

 

@TXFRDOwner Looks good! Very clean. Did you have to do anything to the loosen the wiring harnesses going into the BJB to get it opened up, or was there enough internal slack to just lift it up?

 

@carterman nothing at all. Like you said there was enough internal slack to give me room to work.
