Thanks for the comments! I wanted to use this set up as it was designed to function similar to the set up found on the 03 Cobra and GT500. I cut up and molded a GT500 heat extractor with no issues on my 12 Procharged F150 build. As for this build, I'm trying my best to use OEM parts but modify them to be different than most. My sport Lariet grill is getting painted the week of the 25th as well as a bumper grill that has been modified from a truck many will recognize ")

Because taking the time to mask out all the measurements, making my own patterns, cutting the hood , modifing vent, and pushing the little skills that I was hoping i had was much more challenging. ... Thank you for your input

Well I'm glad I dug into this thread. At least no I know what heat extractors are for. At least I know it has function. Not my thing but good fabrication none-the-less.

Thanks bud, hit me up if you have any ?s before you start cutting. I've done several gt500 vents .. GT500 much easier to install than the ones I just did. Hope all is well
