Bar and emblem mount were one piece. Had to modify it.

See this - it should answer your questions.

Looks like there is a similar grille out there where the bar is permanently part of the frame (see post #34 in that thread), so if you are going to do a similar mod, make sure you get one with the detachable bar.

When I was looking, the price fluctuated from day to day. It may becoming more popular, and I got lucky getting it before it went up, or you may just have to wait and watch for it.
