For real right? I would think choosing either nav or non nav would be pretty self explanatory as to which download to use? Instead the guy gets his panties in a wad and accuses me of being a smart ***.

I updated my radio..

Even after "extracting" to the USB, from the zipped file.. the files on the USB were still zipped..

I reformatted the drive, and just manually dropped the 2 necessary files onto the file... everything worked fine.. 15 minutes..

I have Sync 3 v1.0. According to the first page of the thread I can not upgrade. Is this still true?

Yes and no.

Ford has said the upgrade will be released by end of 2016.

Someone on the forums that specializes in after market sync upgrades got the files early from Ford and folks have been on here downloading and successfully upgrading.

So you can either go back a few dozen posts and get the links and instructions, or you can wait for Ford to officially release the upgrade to their website.

The choice is one only you can make, Godspeed my friend.

 

Todd your waiting? I'd have figured you'd have upgraded. Quick and easy...let the truck do it while I was driving last week.

 

I successfully updated non nav. Ordered my blue hub ahead of time and now have Carplay!

I've only been messing with it for a couple hours, but I can't seem to get the Maps to give turn by turn through the stereo. I checked my settings on my phone and voice is turned on. Anyone know how to enable this? I googled and couldn't find anything.
