No dice. Install again or leave it?

Hey jm061, do you know the part number for mustangs, all the part numbers listed here have 2 USB ports, ours have 1, will it fit/same connectors?

So I followed directions - extracting the upgrade file.zip to the root of my exFAT flash drive. Go out to my pickup, turn on, insert USB and nothing happens. Also tried inserting before turning on the truck and nothing happens. I assume I should get some kind of prompt to upgrade when the drive is plugged in, no?

On the flash drive, you should have the following:
SyncMyRide
autoinstall.lst

Yes, extraction works fine and all 5 files are there (the autoinstall file and the 4 .tar.gz files in the syncmyride folder).

Which USB port are you using, the ones inside the sliding tray below your climate controls, or the one inside the center console storage area?

Ok. Only reason I mentioned it is I unzipped everything to "UPGRADE FILE" folder name initially and nothing happened. Beyond that, not really sure.
Assuming you downloaded the correct version.
At the top of the screen, it said something about installing update.

Sliding tray. I guess I wasn't even aware there was a USB port in my center console it's so full of junk.

I wasn't able to snag the original file from jm061's dropbox link so I used a mirror. Not having a checksum I can't verify if there's anything wrong with the file other than blind faith. I'll try another drive and if that doesn't work I'll just wait it out. I don't have the updated hub anyway so it's more for curiosity than function at this point.

Verify your download is correct by going here: http://onlinemd5.com/
Select "SHA-256" then drag and drop the downloaded file onto the window. Give it a couple minutes to calculate the hash and compare it to the value in red above. if it matches, you're good!
I downloaded from a mirror as well. Work blocks dropbox.
I did use the link above to verify the checksum. Be sure to select SHA-256. I am assuming the file is ok since you could unzip it.
