And Paul is correct in that those two issues have other fixes out for them already. You should visit your dealer to have those corrected.

For those that have already upgraded their USB hub, what are you doing with your old one?

I inquired about the USB hub from my local dealer and they stated this

I do not list this part number “GJ7Z-19A387-B” for a 2016 F-150, it is listed under Lincoln MKC and Navigator models. This part number is special order out of the USA and would take about 1-2 weeks to receive one. However the 19A387 listed for you’re 2016 F-150 is special order, one working day away.

Anyone know if the 19A387 will work for CarPlay once the 2.0 is released or do I have to go with the 19A387-B

The 2 part #s listed in the original post are confirmed as working. Anything else is a guess. 19A387 is just a base part #.

Could you share the part number?

I have been to the Dealer and their response was to bring it in while the "No Audio" problem is present. I have not been able to replicate it.

I do understand the separate issues and SSM 45945 is associated with the "No Audio" issue and calls for the ACM to be re-programmed. Would this also correct the 911 problem?

The Antenna Issue is associated with SSM 46016.

My problem is how to get the Dealer to address these 2 issues without replicating them.

The SSM's do not require the problem be replicated, just that the customer (you) complain about it. It is a warrantable repair that Ford will pay for.

If your dealer won't do it - 1) he's a dick & 2) find a different dealer, one who will service your vehicle as Ford intended.
