I have read hundreds of post on this topic and do not see the update for 2016 Sync 3 2.0 to 2.2. Like madcap57 I did read a note warning not to install the 1.0 and 1.1 to 2.2 on a 2.0 unit. Sorry for cluttering the thread if that upgrade link is here, I could not find it.

updated to 2.2. USB hub will be here Friday. rocking apple carplay this weekend.
NAV takes several minutes to come back after update fyi.

Question. I downloaded the upgrade for Nav, which is in my truck. What happens if it turns out to be for non-nav? Will the system reject it or will it brick the head unit?
My unzipped files are slightly smaller than the ones pictured a few entries back. Is that going to be an issue. I have the autoinstall.lst and the syncmyride folder with 4 .gz files.
